Buttermilk Banana Bread

Ingredients

  • Ripe bananas – 3 ea.
  • Butter, softened – ½ cup (113 g)
  • Sugar – 1 cup (200 g)
  • Buttermilk – 4 tbsp. (60 mL)
  • Baking soda – 1 tsp. (4.6 g)
  • Eggs – 2 ea.
  • Flour – 2 cups (250 g)
  • Chopped pecans – ½ cup (50 g)
  • Salt – 1/8 tsp. (0.8 g)

Steps

  • Step 1

    Cream butter and sugar.

  • Step 2

    Add bananas and mix well.

  • Step 3

    Add eggs and continue mixing.

  • Step 4

    Add baking soda that has been dissolved in buttermilk.

  • Step 5

    Finally, add flour and salt and fold in nuts.

  • Step 6

    Grease loaf pan before adding the batter.

  • Step 7

    Pour approximately 1lb of batter per pan.

  • Step 8

    Place pans into MXP.
