Cheese Pizza, New York Style (fresh dough)

Ingredients

  • Fresh pizza dough – 1 lb. (450 g)
  • Tomato sauce – 1 cup (9.8 oz.)
  • Shredded mozzarella cheese – 1.5 cups (4.3 oz.)
  • Shredded parmesan – 2 tbsp. (10 g)
  • Olive oil – 2 tbsp. (30 mL)

Steps

  • Step 1

    Preheat pizza stone inside of the JET for at least 15 minutes to 475°F (250°C).

  • Step 2

    Roll out pizza dough so that it measures 14” (35 cm) across.

  • Step 3

    Spoon and spread tomato sauce on top of the dough.

  • Step 4

    Sprinkle and spread shredded mozzarella cheese on top of the sauce evenly.

  • Step 5

    Sprinkle shredded parmesan on top of the mozzarella cheese.

  • Step 6

    Drizzle olive oil on top of the pizza.

  • Step 7

    Use flour or cornmeal to sprinkle on the pizza peel for easy transfer onto pizza stone in JET.

  • Step 8

    Bake at the recommended settings.
