1. In a large mixing bowl, beat 2 large eggs and 4 large egg yolks with 1 cup granulated sugar.
2. Add 2 3/4 cups heavy whipping cream and 1 1/4 cups milk, plus 1 tsp vanilla and a pinch of salt. Pour 1/2 cup mixture into crème brulee dishes.
3. Place in baking pan that is filled with hot (boiling) water - at least up to the middle of the dish. Chill. "
